RSVP FOR EPISODE 3 OF STOCKS & CHILL
💌 1: The AI Race Has Changed
The biggest lesson of the night was realizing that Wall Street is no longer rewarding companies simply for spending billions on AI.
The conversation has shifted.
Instead of asking:
"How much are you investing in AI?"
Investors are now asking:
"How is AI actually making you money?"
We broke down how each of the Magnificent Seven is taking a completely different approach to artificial intelligence.
Microsoft.
Amazon.
Nvidia.
Apple.
Meta.
Alphabet.
Same technology.
Completely different business strategies.
Biggest takeaway:
Execution is becoming more valuable than ambition.
💌 2: Earnings We're Watching
We previewed several of the biggest earnings reports coming up and discussed what each company actually does, why investors are excited, and what risks still exist.
For each company we discussed:
Why investors are bullish.
What could go wrong.
And what Wall Street will actually be paying attention to when earnings are released.
💌 3: The $45 Billion Hedge Fund That Collapsed
One of the biggest conversations of the evening centered around the story of Leopold Aschenbrenner.
A young AI researcher who reportedly raised hundreds of millions of dollars, built an AI focused hedge fund that grew to roughly $45 billion, and then watched most of it disappear after taking on too much leverage.
But this wasn't just another Wall Street story.
We discussed:
Why conviction matters.
How leverage works.
The difference between having a great investment thesis and managing risk.
Why protecting your downside is just as important as believing in your upside.
💌 4: Conviction vs. Credentials
This became one of my favorite conversations of the night.
We talked about how so many people wait until they feel "qualified enough" before taking action.
Meanwhile...
Other people launch the business.
Raise the money.
Pitch the investors.
Apply for the opportunity.
Ask for the meeting.
The market often rewards people willing to move before they feel completely ready.
That doesn't mean being reckless.
It means believing in yourself enough to start.
💌 5: The Black Woman Perspective
One of the most meaningful conversations we had wasn't about a stock.
It was about confidence.
We talked about how so many Black women already have:
The education.
The experience.
The résumé.
The skills.
Yet we're often waiting for permission before betting on ourselves.
My hope is that every woman left realizing that sometimes the biggest investment you'll ever make is believing you're ready before the world tells you that you are.
💌 6: Community Discussion
One of my favorite parts of Stocks & Chill continues to be hearing from all of you.
We talked about:
Building confidence.
Managing risk.
Career growth.
Entrepreneurship.
Investing with intention.
How to think more like an owner than a consumer.
These conversations continue proving that Stocks & Chill is about so much more than the stock market.
💌 7: Coming Up Next...
Episode 3 will be FREE and presented in collaboration with Fenty Beauty. 🖤
We'll continue breaking down the biggest conversations happening across business, investing, and culture while bringing even more surprises to the community.
I can't wait to see you there.
💌 Biggest Takeaway
Stocks & Chill isn't just about finding the next stock.
It's about learning how to think.
How to separate headlines from reality.
How to understand business through culture.
How to manage risk while still betting on yourself.
Because the women who build wealth aren't always the smartest people in the room.
They're often the ones willing to take informed action before everyone else.
